The Sweet & Sara vanilla marshmallows were effing good. First I made them in S’Mores in the microwave and they puffed up just like regular marshmallows and had the perfect texture. I was in love. I later found out that I like them even better in their natural form, plain just out of the container. Mmm. In fact, an almost empty container is sitting next to me right now.
If only they weren’t so expensive at $6.19! I want to try the toasted coconut variety and I DEFINITELY need to get me one of those S’mores…

In any case, vegan or not, these are exactly like their gelatin-lad counterparts and you should all try them if you see them. Also, you should send me more. Hah. Who really wants ground up animal bones in your treats anyway? Ewe.
Ingredients of the vanilla marshmallows: cane sugar*, water, corn syrup, acacia, carrageenan, cornstarch, pure vanilla extract, locust bean gum, soy protein hydrolysate, organic confectioner’s sugar, sea salt. *vegan
i want more 🙁
Me toooo, they are SOGOOD. I wish they didn’t cost a ridic amount.
Hi. Just happened upon your blog randomly. The Sweet and Sara marshmallows are amazing. I work at Cornucopia and only tried them this week when why brother, who’s vegan, was visiting. He actually told me that one of the companies that made vegan marshmallows (maybe the one you mentioned) wasn’t making them anymore because the distributor was actually getting gelatin? which they thought was not animal-based. I looked online but couldn’t find anymore info about this…
